The name Penne, which means "pen" in Italian, is derived from the shape of the pasta. The quill of an old writing pen inspires the tubular cut with bevelled ends. durum wheat semolina, water.
Usage Instructions
1. Bring water to a fast boil and add salt. We recommend 7g of salt per litre of water. 2. Once boiling, add the pasta to the water and cook for 11 minutes, stirring occasionally. 3. Drain well and serve with your favourite Barilla pasta sauce.
